Design Archives™ Vintage & Handmade Emporium operates two multi-vendor marketplaces in downtown Greensboro and Winston-Salem, NC, featuring nearly 70 vendors in Greensboro and over 150 in Winston-Salem. Specializing in vintage clothing (including fifties dresses and crinolines), handmade goods, unique gifts, jewelry, furniture, and one-of-a-kind artisan products, the stores emphasize whimsical and quirky finds. Located in historic buildings—a lovely old structure on South Elm Street in Greensboro and a former art deco car showroom in Winston-Salem—Design Archives has won multiple local awards for best vintage store and best gift shop since opening in 2001.
