A.THERIEN is a curated antique shop located on a roadside family farm in the northern Catskills near Cairo, New York. Specializing in antique furniture with utilitarian and vernacular origins, textiles, and found objects, the store emphasizes pieces with elemental patinas and modernist geometry. The shop also features an exceptional collection of rare and collectible books focusing on art, nature, and photography, including titles from independent art publishers like The Song Cave and Primary Information. Occasional special presentations showcase art ephemera, photography, studio furniture, and studio pottery. Open Friday–Sunday 11–5 or by appointment.
